Foxes keeping geese

Kudos to the American Medical Students Association for keeping a constantly updated scorecard detailing different higher education medical institutions’ attitude towards mixing profession and profit. Basically, they look at how the institutions teach students about conflicts of interest within the medical profession, and how they treat varying degrees of contact with the pharmaceutical industry. This was started after some of the association’s members found out their teachers were actively recommending certain drugs over others while being well-paid consultants for the pharmaceutical firms producing them.
